Pictures and Nickleback

Last weekend Mark and I went to Meridian to have some engagment pictures taken so we could have some good pictures to display at the wedding. We took the pictures at sunset at my grandmother's house. Ashley (Jackson) Bunyard took the pictures and did a great job! It was also so hot! I was a little nervous that we were going to look hot and sweaty but they turned out great! Here are some of my favs...

I also had tickets to see Nickelback, Hinder, Papa Roach and Saving Abel for Monday night. Due to the tropical storm they postponed the concert until last night. I thought I was going to have to work late and at the last minute I was able to go with some friends from work. So, we missed Saving Abel because of traffic and once we got there it started to rain. They wouldn't let us bring our umbrella in so we walked to the gas station to buy a poncho but they were sold out :( So, we had a choice, to go home and lose the money we spent on tickets or sit in the rain. We chose to sit in the rain because we figured it wouldn't last for very long and it wasn't raining too hard at the time. Well, we were wrong! It rained for 3 hours! At one point it was thundering and lightning and very cold! I was soaked!! We got there about 6 and it didn't stop raining until 9 and got home about 11. Needless to say, I'm very sleepy this morning! I did have fun minus the pouring rain, thunder & lightning. They all put on a very good show. Was it worth standing in the rain for...........ummmmm, no but I would go see them again as long as I had 4 walls and roof! I would really like to meet the genius who decided to postpone from Monday night (which it never rained) to last night (where we had a small flood)!! Did they not check with the weatherman first?? He could have told them that they didn't expect any rain until last night!!! Oh well, we had a good time and I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I don't end up sick! We did take some pictures but I'll have to get them from my friend and post them later.
Hope you guys have a great Hump Day!
